The office gave me their old hp laserjet 4100 which worked fine. I hooked it up to my circulation computer and it will print emails, from word, from Follett, but when I try to print from the web, it won't. I eventually have to delete the doculment. I get an error message in the printer window, but do not know what it means. I've gone to hp's website to try to get a user manual, but have had no luck. Another problem, I connected this machine to the circulation computer as I wanted to regulate printing. Whenever I try to share it and map from other computers to this printer, I can't even find it! I do know how to network as the printer the students presently use is the same type, but older and is connected directly to one of the workstation computers. I networked everything else it it. I'm frustrated and am open to any suggestions.
