Marge takes Bart, Lisa, and Milhouse to the library to find books for their school reports, only to find no books on the shelves. In lieu of no books, Marge tells the kids some history tales. Henry VIII In this version of the Henry VIII story, Homer is King Henry VIII, in search of a woman who can bear him a son. He gets a daughter from his wife Margerin of Aragon and divorces her, though only after executing the Lord Chancellor, Sir Thomas More (Flanders) by shooting him out of a cannon ("canonizing") after he objects. Homer then marries Anne Boleyn and executes her. After several executions, Homer still does not have a son. Asking Marge to forgive him, Marge suffocates Homer. Lewis and Clark and Sacagawea Lewis (Lenny) and Clark (Carl) are assigned to explore the west. Meeting a tribe of Native Americans, they are given the guidance of Sacagawea (Lisa). Eventually, Lisa gets fed up with Lenny and Carl and tries to leave. She is confronted by a mountain lion and is saved by Lenny and Carl (who remembered how to scare a mountain lion). They then reach the Pacific Northwest and name it Eugene, Oregon. Mozart and Salieri In a parody of the movie Amadeus, Bart is Mozart. He is a big hit in Vienna, which causes a rivalry with Salieri (Lisa). At Bart's opera, "The Musical Fruit", she poisons Emperor Burns with a sleeping drug. As everyone does what the Emperor does, they all fall asleep. Bart then goes down the path of the has-been rock star and dies. Lisa then tries to submit her work to the Emperor. However, she is beaten by Beethoven (Nelson) and goes to a mental hospital. Lisa, however, denounces Marge's telling of the lives of Mozart and Salieri, noticing that Mozart and Salieri had better relations in their time, and notes of the similarities to Amadeus. Homer then says that Tom Hulce, who starred in Amadeus, also starred in National Lampoon's Animal House.
