I joined Weight Watchers just before school started so I can look like a normal person again and not Miss 5X5. I like to take soup and a fruit for lunch. I also like hummus and a pita bread. It is something different and I can change the flavors. I have been doing alot of bean soups at home and if there is any left, (2 teenage boys at home) I bring that for lunch. I make sure I have a fruit for lunch. If I get the munchies at school I keep mango flavored dried pineapple slices around. I get them from Aldis and its like eating candy without a ton of calories. I have lost 30 lbs. so far and have quite a few more to go, but having some treats that don't skyrocket the calories helps. -- Pam Gelbmann, Media Specialist Wilson Elem.
