Hello, I will have a student intern with me through Syracuse University. This is my first time for this type of experience. I am asking for any suggestions or advice that you might have to make the time spent worthwhile. When I was in the process of planning this post, an article in Library Media Connection came along. It is written by Christine Meloni and answers many of my questions in advance ("Mentoring the Next Generation of Library Media Specialists, Jan. 2006, pp. 32-33). A short sharp look or a light clasp of his hand will stir him into awareness, and he will blink in rapture at the brilliance of The Book. For, under the imaginary table that separates me from my readers, don't we secretly clasp each other's hands?"
