[LM_NET] Hit: Getting PC's ready for new year

Here are the responses I received. It seems managable. There is always so much 
other stuff that needs to be done before the year begins and the teachers are 
always to HOT to begin. So much to do, so little time!

1.  Used canned air to blow out all dust inside the CPU
2. Used Clorox wipes to clean the keyboards and exterior of the mouse
3. Used rubbing alcohol on cotton tips to clean the inside of mouse and the 
ball
4. Cleared the History and Temporary Files and the Cookies
5. Cleared My Documents and made sure no extra pictures were inthe My 
Pictures folders
6. Checked to see that no one had downloaded any other programs or games- if 
any were found, used the Remove option to get rid of them.
7. Emptied the  Recycle bin
8. Closed all programs
9. Turned the computers off.

I  would clear the history and delete cookies.  If you use Internet Explorer right 
click on your browser, select properties and delete cookies, delete files, and 
clear history all from the menu that opens. In addition, I would run scan disk and 
defragment the drive. 

When you get back to school, do all the updates that have been added during the 
summer.
