Hi. While reading the July issue of O the Oprah magazine, I came across a new board game called 'Liebrary' (ages 12 and up). It is played a bit like Balderdash in that one person draws a card and reads aloud the synopsis of a well-known piece of literature. Everyone then creates an opening line for that work. The person who drew the card writes the real opening line and reads them all aloud together. Everyone then guesses the correct opening sentence. You get points if you fooled someone in to guessing yours. It can be found at Simply Fun Board Games: http://simplyfun.com/products/liebrary/ Davinna Artibey Teacher Librarian Denver Center for International Studies Denver Public Schools, CO Davinna@comcast.net -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
