[LM_NET] TECH HELP: A Thunderbird Disaster: Emails Received Deleted

Hi,
To install a program that I had downloaded, I followed the instruction 
to close all my open programs, which included Thunderbird....
When I opened Thunderbird, all of my files in my Inbox were deleted.....
Does anyone know where the Thunderbird folder for received emails is hidden?
Any suggestions for restoring these emails?
