My school corporation's foundation has just announced that it will offer small ($500) Quick Start grants for projects that will help launch the upcoming school year with a new/fun/meaningful activity. I have been a library media specialist for many years but this year will be my first year in a high school setting. I would like to apply for one of these grants; I would appreciate some help from those of you who have worked in high school libraries about things that you think might qualify as grant ideas for this opportunity. What do you think would appeal to the students at this level that would also be relatively simple to implement since there isn't a great deal of time to get this up and going? Please reply directly to me. I will post a HIT if requested. TIA VCB Vicki Builta Library Media Specialist Anderson High School 4610 S.
