Sheet Music--Collection

Sheet Music Consortium
We have, within our extended family, a lyricist whose name graced many a
colorful sheet music cover in the early 20th century. My cousin, who is the
niece of this man, has a large framed collection of this sheet music hanging
on the walls of her house. While exploring this website, it was amazing to
see some of these same pieces of sheet music in digital format here, thanks
to the Sheet Music Consortium -- "a group of libraries working toward the
goal of building an open collection of digitized sheet music using the Open
Archives Initiative:Protocol for Metadata Harvesting (OAI:PMH)."
