Thanks to everyone who responded to my query about NoodleTools! The response was overwhelmingly positive. The majority opinion was that it's more important for students to identify and locate the information needed in a bibliography than for them to memorize the details of the form. They do have to input the right data in order to create correct citations, so there is still student responsibility. There were also many who mentioned that students and faculty love this tool, and that the support available from the company is great. Someone also told me that Noodlebib was developed by Debbie Ablicock, who is a professional librarian, and her son. There were too many responses to share them all, but if you can receive attachments and would like to see the responses I'd be glad to forward them. EasyBib was also mentioned by many - as a free citation generator (www.easybib.com). Please reply off-list to my e-mail address below if you'd like to see all responses. lfrazer@tuxedo.ouboces.org Linda Frazer School Library Media Specialist K-12 Tuxedo Union Free School District Tuxedo, NY -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
