Congratulations to those LM_NETters who won the Laura Bush
grants....I wish I could even qualify to apply...while risking
sounding like a spoil sport, I get so frustrated because I have yet
to find a grant that my school and district qualifies for! We always
meet AYP; we are 'too white, too rich, and not urban or rural enough'
to qualify for anything! We are just a basic school plugging away,
doing the best that we can while we still suffer 10 and 20% cuts to
our budgets!

If anyone knows of grants for schools like mine I would really
appreciate knowing! I could certainly use some extra money without
having to run 2 bookfairs each year!

Please don't flame me, either! This is just a vent! i am truly please
for those who won grants...but also a bit envious!
