Our county's Teacher Production Lab adds new Ellison dies to its collection each year. When I noted that a large profile of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was now available, the "gag" just wrote itself. One of our graduating seniors has done a report on Dr. King almost every year. I cut four profiles out of construction paper- two brown for the outside and two white for the inside, stapling the sides to make a card. The note inside read, "I had a dream! A dream that one day ______ would graduate from high school. I'm glad that not only was the dream fulfilled, but that I could play a part in making it happen. CONGRATULATIONS! Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and "Miss Melanie" [Luckily it was taken in the spirit in which it was intended!] Melanie Aultman, Library Specialist Waldo Library, Waldo, FL listposts@yahoo.com --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!?
