Dear Debbie I just wrote this to Susan .... but I shall share it with the list as well because maybe others can use it. I make my own flannel stories by buying two copies of a book and 'roughly' cutting the pictures I want from them (two copies gives you all the pictures on each page), gluing them onto sandpaper (that's the stuff you use for sanding walls before you paint them, just in case it's a different term in your language) and then carefully cutting them out. The paper gives them strength and adheres to the flannel background well. And you are not breaking copyright because what you do with something after you have purchased it is your business, unless you are planning to make money yourself from it! (So you would need to seek further advice if you were going to do this to make the kits to sell.) But who has time for that???
