Dear All,

I am trying to come up with some ideas to prevent book theft in my
library. I don't have a security system and don't think the
administration will get me one. I thought of perhaps telling teachers to
have the kids leave their backpacks in classroom or lockers or having
the kids leave their personal belongings in the area of the library
where they walk in. Do any of you have procedures you've found have cut
down on the number of thefts in the library?

Thanks,

Nicole Sette
