Hello,
Since we're on the subject of bulletin boards I'd like to share what my very
creative assistant has up on our board right now. In January she went to the edge
of the woods and picked up a perfectly shaped bare tree branch and attached it to
the board to make a "tree." In January it had cotton snow and a red cardinal on
its branches. Last month we hung hearts from the branches.
Yesterday we stuck a kite in it! She made a 3-D Charlie Brown and gave him the
speech bubble "Good Grief." It's been a great hit with students and staff. We
plan to keep the tree until the end of the school year...I envision Easter eggs,
flowers, etc!
By the way, this board is behind our check-out desk so students don't really get
tempted to touch it. We have the branch situated so there aren't any eye-popping
hazards.
