[LM_NET] TAR: Why blog? 3 questions

I am preparing something for our staff and I am looking for what is the 
current opinion on blogs.
How are teaching staff using blogs and why?
How are librarians using blogs and why?

What advice would you give to those considering blogs as an educational tool 
for the first time?
