Dear LM_Netters, Knowledge Quest is working on an issue about the physical environment of a school library. As practitioners we have found that sometimes small changes in a facility have big effects - on your program, on what kids do, on how effective you are, on how efficiently you can house or store or provide certain resources. If you have a "Small Changes Story" to tell our profession, preferably one which can be illustrated with a photo, please write to me directly and let me know. Your "Small Change" story will join others in an upcoming issue of KQ. Debbie Abilock, Editor Knowledge Quest http://www.ala.org/aasl/kqweb/ kq@abilock.net "A wild patience has taken me this far." -- Adrienne Rich Knowledge Quest is devoted to offering substantive information to assist building-level library media specialists, supervisors, library educators, and other decision makers concerned with the development of school library media programs and services. Articles address the integration of theory and practice in school librarianship and new developments in education, learning theory, and relevant disciplines. -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
