[LM_NET] TARGET: ipod use in elementary libraries

Hello,

I am interested in information from anyone who is using MP3 technology in
their libraries, specifically:

 

1.  How are you utilizing the technology (in cooperation with remedial
reading program, etc.)?

2.  Are they for in-school use only?

3.  Do you download from a subscription service (like audible.com)?

4.  How many units do you keep in the library?

5.  How do you handle the earphones?

6.  Anything else (positive or negative) that I might need to know?

 

We have some extra home and school funds and are thinking about writing a
proposal to add this technology to our library in a pilot type program.  Any
information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.  I will post a hit
if there is interest.
