[LM_NET] Looking for story "Finished One"?

One of our faculty is looking for information about a story that 
is supposed to be based on or similar to "The Scarlet Letter". 
The story's title is apparently "The Finished One". Anyone who 
has more information about this or knows where it may be found, 
please let me know. Thanks!
