Hello!
I've been weighing the use of Pathfinders in our high school library. I can't
easily create a new page on the library website so I have to create a file in one
of the shared drives and label it by teacher/course name. The first group I tried
this with didn't seem to get it.

Now I'm wondering why I don't just put these links in the OPAC. Assuming I have
enough advance notice, once it was done it would be in place for those teachers who
repeat similar projects year after year.

Yes, I'd have to worry about the links staying up to date, but I'd have to do that
in a Pathfinder also. In fact, I could have a student assistant or sub test links
for me. On the other hand, I'd have to go to more effort to put in the appropriate
subject headings. Importing website catalog records isn't a practical solution
(yes, I guess I'm spoiled when it comes to books!).

I did a little searching in the archives about Pathfinders and cataloging websites
into OPAC, but the topic doesn't seem to have come up recently and I'd like to know
what the freshest thinking is on this before I take it on.
