While I am not a school librarian yet, I would like to help the librarian at the high school where I have taught to develop her collection of titles written in spanish. Our school has a large hispanic population and I believe that we need to encourage these kids to read more books in Spanish before we can work towards developing their literacy skills in English. Do any of you know where we could find a list of recommended titles written in Spanish that would be interesting to a teen and appropriate for a high school library? We would also welcome any titles or authors that you could recommend. I will post a HIT.
