I have just had my first week with a document camera, the Avervision
300p that is mentioned below. It is the best teaching tool since
sliced bread! ;-) I used it this week with my 2nd, 3rd and 4th
graders to better explain how the AR levels work, showing them a
variety of books and the AR labels in the back. I could also show
them the difference between various books as far as print size and
density, number of pages, ratio of pictures to print, etc. The kids
all thought it was need AND they paid attention! We had a lot less
problems with kids finding their AR books too. With a couple of
classes we had some time to do some reading together!
I can hardly wait to do some almanac and dictionary lessons!
