Thank you all for your assistance...its always great to know that we can depend on each other for great ideas! I would hang it from the ceiling instead. We use security cables to attach our fixed projectors. I can't recommend a specific one for your setup, but if you Google for "security cables lcd projectors" you should be able to find something in the hit list which fits your needs. Have you thought about industrial stength Velcro? That is what our tech guy suggested. you CAN pull it up, but you really have to pull HARD! 1. Have you tried heavy duty Velcro? 2. How about the bungee cords with hooks on the end of them. They want be visually appealing, but the work in my school. I secured mine to a table top 2 ways: 1)To prevent theft: I purchased a laptop cable lock from Staples. The projector has the same hole to insert the locking end into the projector. The cable end is hooked around an opening in the table. (I think the lock is a Belkin product - it looks like a bicycle cable lock) Cost was about $25 2) To add stability to prevent the projector from being accidentally knocked off the table: From Home depot I purchased an strap that is used to stablize TV sets in case of earthquakes. The end of the strap is secured via adhesive to the table and then is threaded through a buckle that is tightened on the other side. Cost was about $15 -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
