If anyone is familiar with this book, I need some help. I’m going to read it to Kindergarten and 1st graders next week and was going to identify the animals as they appear. On the page where “X” appears, a bird is holding the letter. Is there a type of bird that starts with the letter X? Or, is there another animal that starts with an X on the page that I’m missing? I looked in about three dictionaries under X for a word describing a bird, but couldn’t find one. I also looked on the publisher’s web site for an explanation. If you know what animal or bird it is, please send me an e-mail! Thank you.
