Hi Karen

Here are some suggestions. I did a project in the library in
conjunction with computers last year on Fractured Fairytales and the
kids absolutely loved it! It was by far their favorite. Also, the book
"Bad Boys" was a big hit as a read-aloud for 1st graders.

The Stinky Cheese Man and other Fairly Stupid Tales by Jon Sceiszka

The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig by Eugene Trivizas

Little Red Riding Hood: A Newfangled Prairie Tale by Lisa Campbell Ernst

Goldilocks Returns by Lisa Campbell Ernst

Bad Boys by Margie Palatani

There is another good series about Cinderella, Red Riding Hood, and
aliens...something like that. The books are early chapter books and
the covers are yellow and purple. If anyone can help me out with the
names email me back- I am having a memory lapse right now! Thanks!
