I have a sixth grade teacher with students functioning on a third or fourth grade reading level who will be looking up science-themed current events articles. Our magazine and database subscriptions are all targeted at higher level readers. Can anyone recommend some free sites where students on this level could get information about science current events--info on hurricanes, global warming, animals, Pluto, etc? Thank you; I'll post a hit if there is interest.
