Thanks sooo much for the responses. I asked why poetry, rhymes etc. were housed 
in the "non fiction" section. 
The answer: Which was given by everyone so that is why I am not putting individual  
responses because they were all similar....

The 800 section is for literature. This includes all the books that we classify as 
F or 
FIC. We as librarians have pulled them out for easier access. It is wrong to think 
of 
books with numbers as Non fiction. Thanks to everyone  this really clarifies my 
lesson and makes it an even better intro to DEWEY!!!
