OK You Helpful Netters, I queried before about Podcasts & Copyright asking if it was OK to read a book , or part of one, and record it as a podcast. The answer I got suggested that it was not OK. But what about Dial-a-Story? Another inquiring mind wondered how libraries can record for Dial-A- Story if one couldn't do it for a podcast. Those recordings are usually full-length books. Is it because they are only stored for a certain amount of time? Is it a loop-hole because patrons are calling the number?
