[LM_NET] GEN: Signed copy of "Sounder"

I have discovered on the shelves of my K-5 library a signed copy of the novel 
Sounder (William H. Armstrong).  Just curious as to how to authenticate the 
signature of the author and how to determine value, if any.  We have no desire to 
sell it, but curiosity as to how it would be valued.
