I tackle this subject at length in my new collaboration book,
Collaborating to Meet Literacy Standards K-2. I'm with you,
Catherine, in joining the team as a way to ensure that we are PART of
the team and the endeavor. I am not suggesting that we compromise
our own standards or role but rather shape our role to be an
essential (collaborative) partner in the literacy focus in our schools.
