Join other Youth Service Librarians and aides who have
taken the popular Arts and Crafts for Youth Librarians
online workshop.  The workshop is online so that you
can access it at your convenience.  A new module will
open each week and remain open until the end of the 4
week class.  Topics include art project ideas for
preschool, elementary, and middle school and teen
groups.   Summer reading crafts and even how to
promote your art programs are included in this 4 week
online course.  Topics also include how to promote
literacy through the visual arts.  Network, and ask
other youth librarians and Valerie Colston, an art
professor and library art performer for advice and art
project suggestions. The cost for the 4 week workshop
is only $35.00.  The workshop opens May 7th, 2007.
