My husband and I are considering moving to the Twin Cities area in a year or two, after living in El Paso, TX, for the past nine years. We have a few questions for those who are currently living there. Any comments you could give would be greatly appreciated. 1. We've heard horror stories about the traffic during rush hour from various people, but most of those have been from small, rural areas where relatively light traffic might seem like heavy congestion. Comments?? 2. Are there any communities or areas you wouldn't recommend a family with small children to move to? While I grew up in southwestern MN, I'm not very familiar with the Twin Cities suburbs. We would probably like to live in the western, southwest, or southern part of the Metro area. 3. How does the employment situation look for librarians and high school social studies teachers with 8-10 years experience? 4. Could you comment on "best and worst" districts to work for? Obviously, this is a matter of personal opinion, but any knowledge would help us make decisions right now. Thanks for any help anyone can give us!
