I am finally at the end of my big project. I have been building the collection for the new K-8 school our district is opening in August. The state mandates an opening day collection has 10 books on the shelf per student at the capacity of the school. In my case, that's 8,500 books. My budget is $105,000. I am at the point of finding "cheap" books to make my count without going over my budget. I am buying from Perma-Bound. My question is about board books. They are cheap and would really help me bring this whole thing in at budget. Should I buy the board books or not? What do you think? Thanks in advance!
