I am attempting to create a timeline in Word that will be printed out and handed in.

I used microsoft help and did a search on the word timeline and was able to
download a template.

The template goes from 1955 to 1990. I need it to go from 1935 to 2000 and it won't
let me expand it to add other "time points."

The template comes with six prepared boxes. Three on top with arrows pointing down
and three on the bottom with arrows pointing up.

I need more than six.

The instructions say:
  · To create additional timeline events, copy and paste the arrow text
object you want, and then drag the object to the location you want.
however, it will not let me "copy." I right click on a cute little arrowed box
and
the copy function is shadowed out.

I am able to click and write text in the boxes, I can resize, move, etc, but I
cannot seem to figure out how to make more boxes. I go to insert text box and I
get a huge box at the bottom. I was able to make a text box in the general
vicinity of the timeline I needed one at, but it had no arrow pointing to the
timeline.

Or, does anyone know an online site where I can create a timeline? This is due
first thing Monday morning. HELP!!
