[LM_NET] Target: dividing a collection

Here's the situation:  grade divisions are changing here along with new buildings 
opening;
current configuration is 1 campus -- PK/K, 5 campuses - 1-4, 1 campus -- 5-6, 1 
campus- 7-8
new configuration will be 7 campuses -- K - 5 with PK at a couple of those, 2 
campuses 6-8
 
My elementary partner and I have been working on collection changes/pulling/etc for 
the K - 5 campuses, but soon the current middle school librarian will be starting 
on splitting her collection for the 2 ms plus there is the 6th and up items from 
the current 5-6 campus to split for this.   
 
The question is: what helps, ideas, suggestions do you have for splitting these 
collections?
