HI, I have a mini-dilemna that I know will occur again and again. I would love input. That is what makes LM NET so valuable to me! I worked summer school in the library at the school where I will be librarian this fall. Many times a teacher would come in and say" I need a picture book on________ to read to my class and EVERY TIME I would draw a total blank! I have taught for 15 years and know children's books well. I also just finished a children's lit class. Every time, the teacher would stand there while I racked my brain. I want to be able to say, "YES! Here is _____________ and ______________." I hope this will come in time. I just get nervous! :) Is there a resource that lists books by subject? i.e. colors, animals, shapes, etc... that librarian consult? I have heard of Linda's Links to Literature as a good resource. Do they print lists by subject? Thanks for all your help! -- Elizabeth Kyser Librarian Providence Elementary School Chesterfield County, Virginia -------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note: All LM_NET postings are protected by copyright law.
