[LM_NET] TECH: AverKey and PowerPoint problem

I just bought an AverKey and connected my laptop to a
TV through a video input (the TV is older--no "S"
jack).  Everything "transfers" from the computer to
the TV screen except that a PowerPoint file of
photographs just shows empty frames:  the colored 
background of the slide is there, but the space for
the photo is black.  Any insights?
