I asked about drawbacks to running Destiny and Catalog/Circ Plus concurrently. Overwhelmingly the consensus is that there is no reason to double my efforts, because Destiny is so easy to use/learn. A few helpful folks pointed out that using both concurrently wouldn't work, since you either have to convert your records or not. After talking w/ Follett today, I think I'll take a short amount of time to set up the administrative end of Destiny and review the online training so as to familiarize myself with our necessary functions. Students will continue to use the data in Catalog Plus. After I clean up our database and do the conversion, we'll jump into Destiny with both feet. My thanks to everyone who responded.
