Hi Friends,

Here in Maine, and in just about every other state I've spoken in,
fourth graders study their home state and the regions of the United
States in Social Studies. Can you let me know if that is true for
you? If so, does your social studies book/curriculum use the FIVE
regions approach or the SEVEN regions approach?

FIVE is usually: Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, Northwest/Pacific
SEVEN is usually: New England, Middle Atlantic, Southeast, Midwest,
Southwest, Mountain, Pacific

Best,
Toni
