I had a teacher share an interesting question from a student yesterday. He asked her if the copyright date on a book is no longer valid, what can he do with the book. Can he plagiarize it? He is 8 years old. I would like to clarify for them. How would you explain this to them? Is there a kid friendly website on copyright and fair use or on plagiarism that addresses this in a simple way?
