I agree 100%
I don't think teaching them or encouraging them or
turning your head when they do try to get to sites on
the Internet that are supposed to be blocked is
appropriate either.

One thing I learned in library school was your
clientele should not be able to tell from your
collection your personal opinion on any issue

and I equate this as the same thing
Kids would never know what I think about traffic
rules, copyright law, religious beliefs, the IRS
(LOL),  etc.
and the use of the Internet is no different

Kids are kids and if they think we allow them to get
away with one thing - they will think the same thing
about every other rule and/or procedure
