Since I have some time before the next batch of California Young Reader Medal
Nominees have to be read I can read an adult book without feeling guilty. I am
reading Quicksilver by Neal Stephenson. It has been on my shelf for years waiting
for me. It is so massive that I have actually dropped it on my face a couple of
times while reading in bed (which my wife thought was hilarious). I am
contemplating cutting in half (or fourths!) so I don't break my nose.

handsome, funny, and a great cook (and modest to a fault), but that doesn't mean
everyone wants to read his e-mails.
