Our regional libraries are looking at different (pre-selected) vendors for a possible union catalog system for several libraries. We had the opportunity to look at Sirsi Dynix yesterday and I was wondering if anyone had any comments (positive or negative) about the program? What problems did you face with the migration from one system to this one (many of us are on Athena), what are some of the unexpected surprises (both good and bad), how are your students using the system, what comments do they have? Any suggestions, comments or opinions would be appreciated. I will share them with our group as we continue marching through this process.
