LM_NET Archive

Dear Friends,
Thanks to six of you who have answered my query. I hope many more will
send me your favorite titles published this year.

Even if you only have one title, I invite you to contribute to our
annual survey of BEST BOOKS. What do you consider the best Elementary
and Middle School children's books of 2007? Let me know your choices BY
JANUARY 8, 2008 or sooner. Since ALA Midwinter will announce their
medals for children's books on Monday morning, January 14, I'd like to
get our results in your hands before that, so send me your list as soon
as possible.

There are no restrictions in this LM-NET list. Any subject, any genre,
by Americans or non-Americans, as long as they were published in 2007.
Feel free to list one or twenty-five or more!

If you can give an approximate ranking by INTEREST LEVEL, fine, but
don't let it slow you down.
PRIMARY (K-2, ages 5-7), INTERMEDIATE (Grades 3-5, ages 8-10), YA
(Grades 6-8, ages 11-14). I'll list them thus and with overlaps.

        Warm wishes,
         Joan
