Everyone: I've been asked to read to pre-schoolers, age 2 - 5 on African-American Read-In Day... All my experience is at the high school level or higher. Please, could you give me some suggestions for African-American authored books that would fit this bill? What would you consider most exciting to the pre-schoolers? I only need maybe three to five. Although from my own experience of raising a child and with grandchildren... wouldn't I need different books for the 2-3's and for the 4-5's ? Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU !!!
