Hi Toni and List, Please don't stop posting Hits to the entire list. While I may not be interested in every Hit, I usually glance at them to see if they apply to my school or my situation. I can always delete them. I don't usually email a person every time I would like to see a hit, because I believe they will post the Hit to the entire list for people like myself to see and also so the information is archived. If we only send the hit to people who request it, that will increase the number of emails each of us has to send out and also the person who asked the original question? I do like the fact that some times we post email responses back to only the person, but on a discussion issue we can have an almost real time conversation with emails direct to the whole list. None of us have a lot of extra time, but lists are messy and one rule doesn't always apply to every situation. If I don't have a lot of time I sometimes go back to the digest format which allows me to quickly skim topics and then decide if I want to open them or not. I also, sorry guys, have just done an email search on a specific topic and deleted every new post on that topic. Maybe I'm the only one who thinks we all try our best to do the right thing, but sometimes we mess up and that's OK. Billie J. I never knew we were only supposed to post a HIT to those who asked. I have *always* posted every hit to the list. Have I been breaking the rules all along? Forgive!
