I am a reading teacher at a small independent private school (120 students). Currently we have no "official" school library; our books are in shelves in individual classrooms. An opportunity to take over more space in our current building just presented itself, and we would like to create a small library. Could anyone suggest some books/publications I should consult as we go through the planning process? I am planning on getting an MLS, but I haven't started yet. Any suggestions anyone has are most welcome!
