Original question and answers below:
Good Morning,

Today a teacher asked me if I knew of a book that might talk about Santa
not being real. It would be for a special education student who just found
out there is no santa. Any ideas?

Thank you! BJ

I absolutely LOVE a book titled Welcome Comfort by Patricia Polacco, and
it just might work in this situation. The story revolves around a "new
kid" in school who was being bullied and did not believe in Santa. As the
story unfolds, he discovers that Santa is a real person (the school
custodian) who had befriended him, and eventually the boy grows up and
"inherits" the job of Santa.

Superfudge by Judy Blume may be helpful.

How about the old story "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus."
