Hello fellow LM_Net folks!

My assistant and I have presented a few times at our state NCSLMA conference (North
Carolina School Library Media Association) and have decided to post our suggestions
on a blog. This is a very informal blog of ideas we use in our media center that we
think some of you may want to use. We welcome discussion--anyone can post. This is
not a blog of educational mumbo-jumbo--just our clear, simple ideas. We even tell
you when our ideas fall flat (like our last staff development opportunity). When
we present at conferences, we use our alter-egos, Lucy (me), and Ethel (my
assistant Beth). We have been called that many times by many different people.

For those who don't know us, our high school is in a rural county near a major area
(Tidewater, Virginia), we have a little over 1300 students, and we are a very
popular hangout for our kids. We feel our collection is amazing and our circulation
very high (for a high school).

We don't get a chance to post everyday--but you'll see our ideas as we get a chance
to post them!

Enjoy!
