ORIGINAL TARGET: posted below

Ha, Ha! Must be a regional thing... I've always known a strip of multiple
plugs attached on one cord as a "power bar"... and yes, we have the kind you
eat here too.... anyhow, most of you referred me to 'power strips' (now
that sounds like something that's done to rock music... JUST KIDDING!)...
anyhow, thanks for the suggestions and now I have something more to go on!

By the way, I don't know why they are dying... I inherited several that
don't work, and some are missing parts of the plug or whatever... I'm going
to try and have several repaired, but needed a quick fix for now....
THANKS GUYS -- Shannon

Several people referred me to Demco...

-- Might be called "Universal Power Assembly." At least that's what it is
called in the Demco catalog. P149-8008, 2.8 lbs, $49.99 for a three-outlet
bar and 15' cord.

Other suggestions:
-- H. WilsonR Audio/Visual Carts Accessories; 3-Outlet Electrical Assembly
http://www07.quillcorp.com/Catalog/Browse/Sku.asp?PageType=1&sku=022680&EFFO
RT_CODE=902&FIND_NUMBER=WE

Found this listing on Quill.com. It might help you.

-- Just looked on highsmith and they call it an "electrical assembly"

-- I thought of another idea that may save you some money. Overhead
projectors have long cords, and are usually of a fairly heavy wire. You
could use a regular power strip (with the short cord) by simply replacing
the short cord with a longer one from a dead overhead projector.

ORIGINAL TARGET:
Happy Holidays!

I'm on brain freeze, or holiday shut down or something.... I've been
searching for an hour and can't come up with anything, so I'm asking for
your help....

I have several library carts that came with the power bars on them.... now
several of those power bars are not working for one reason or another....

I can't seem to come up with the correct term to search to replace these
power bars. They screw on to the carts so should be easily replaceable. I
would use a regular power bar, except that all of the ones I have only have
about a 3 foot cord. The ones on the carts have approx. 10 foot cords...
which is what I need. They need to have at least 2 outlets, but definitely
could have more.

Any ideas? Any sources for these? Anything?

Thanks so much!
